a) Data Controller

In line with the Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (“Law No. 6698”), your personal data may be collected and processed by ABYSS DIŞ TİCARET SANAYİ İNŞAAT VE LOJİSTİK LTD. ŞTİ. (“the Company”) as the data controller, within the scope detailed below.

b) Purposes for Processing Personal Data

The Company collects and processes customer identification data for various legitimate and operational purposes, including but not limited to:

  • Fulfilling our obligations to you, in compliance with commercial and tax legislation requirements,
  • Evaluating inquiries and complaints related to our products and services,
  • Fulfilling contractual obligations of product sales/membership agreements,
  • Customizing and recommending products and services offered by the Company,
  • Defining usage preferences and navigation history when using our website or mobile application,

Should explicit consent be provided:

  • Enhancing the quality of services and products through tailored advertising, campaigns, and offers,
  • Conducting traffic measurements, statistical analyses, segmentation/profiling, and CRM activities for sales and marketing purposes,
  • Managing online sales membership, processing orders and payments, and suggesting products and services of interest,

all in accordance with the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Articles 5 and 6 of Law No. 6698.

c) Parties to Whom Personal Data May Be Transferred and the Purposes

Your collected personal data, limited to the realization of the aforementioned purposes, may be transferred to:

  • Relevant business units to facilitate the necessary work for the services offered by the Company,
  • Internal audit units and independent auditors for compliance and audit processes,
  • Entities that provide services within the scope of the Customer Communication Center for managing requests and complaints,

  • Where explicit consent is obtained:

    • Agencies, consultants, and overseas infrastructure providers for marketing and sales analysis,
    • Electronic message service providers for sending promotional and advertising materials aligned with your shopping preferences,

Your personal data, with requisite security measures in place, may be stored domestically or transferred abroad to fulfill the stated purposes.

d) Method of Collecting Personal Data

Your personal data may be collected verbally, in writing, or electronically through our stores, website, mobile application, call centers, and social media platforms.

e) Rights of the Personal Data Subject Under Article 11 of Law No. 6698

As a personal data subject, you may submit your requests regarding your rights to the Company in Turkish and in writing or through a registered electronic mail (KEP) address, secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or an electronic mail address previously provided to the Company and registered in our system. The Company reserves the right to verify your identity before responding.

Your request should include:

  • Your name, surname, and signature if the application is in writing,
  • For Turkish citizens, your TR Identity Number; for foreigners, your nationality, passport number, or identification number,
  • Your residential or workplace address for notifications,
  • Your electronic mail address, telephone, and fax number, if available,
  • The subject of your request,

and should be accompanied by relevant information and documents, if any.
